美国Xencor公司2006年3月宣布，通过使用专有的“XmAb”技术在单克隆抗体的稳定区（Fc）导入变异，增强Fc受体的亲和性及特异性，因此把对靶细胞的抗体依赖性细胞毒性（ADCC）的活性成功地在in vitro实验提高到100倍、在in vivo实验提高到10倍以上。研究得到的结果有望增强已经确定了靶细胞的癌症的治疗效果。
