美国LightForm公司成立于1996年，主要致力于研发、销售面向于科研应用的高光谱影像分析系统（PARISS）。

RARISS于1998年匹兹堡国际分析化学学会上正式推向市场。美国LightForm公司凭借PARISS高光谱影像分析系统共获得三次NIH和SBIR奖项。

PARISS可作为显微镜附件，在不改变显微镜主体结构的情况下，构成一种高光谱显微影像系统。适用于：Zeiss，Leica，Nikon，Olympus等显微镜的多数产品。

LightForm was founded in 1996, by Jeremy Lerner, to develop and sell Hyperspectral Imaging instrumentation to primarily to life science researchers.
LightForm won three NIH, SBIR grants that resulted in the development of the PARISS® Analytical Hyperspectral Imaging system. PARISS was formally introduced to the market at the Pittsburgh Conference in 1998.
 
PARISS can now be found in routine use in bio-research, medical, physics, chemistry, and industrial laboratories throughout the world.
Uses include: Nanoparticle characterization (SPR and "scatter"), spectral histopathology, spectral fluorescence imaging, micro-source color measurement (individual "screen" pixels), and many industrial QC applications.
