Nuvo Research Inc. (马克翰，Markham) 宣布公司因应将完成的关键性第三期临床成果，己网罗FDA专家群。公司的临床测试在2005年底会完成，而初步成果预定会在2006年一月公布。为了处理公司预定2006年中期在FDA申请新药上市许可作业(NDA)，公司已组成FDA顾问委员会。公司这次临床的测试药物是Pennsaid(R)，这是一种外用非固醇类消炎药物，主要用来治疗关节炎，目前在加拿大以及几个欧洲国家都已在贩卖。
