北京瑞利分析仪器公司（原北京第二光学仪器厂）成立于1968年，企业性质属国有独资企业，是国内最大的光谱仪器研究、生产基地，也是集光、机、电、算一体化高新技术企业。瑞利公司占地四万平方米，座落在机场高速公路旁的北京电子城内，交通便捷，毗邻松下彩管、西门子、诺基亚、京东方、七星集团、兆维集团等国内外高新技术企业。

公司科技气氛浓厚，固定资产雄厚，拥有多台大型精密数控加工中心，具备光学加工、光栅复制等尖端技术，以及用于仪器检测的高精度大型可靠性实验室。为实现仪器的优良品质提供了可靠的保证。瑞利公司于1997年率先通过ISO9001质量体系认证。企业注册资本金1169万元，年销售额8000万元，“十五”末期奋斗目标将达到一个亿。资产负债率为42%，企业信誉数AA级。

企业生产经营管理形式，按产品划分四个事业部、两个分公司。四个事业部即：原子吸收事业部、紫外事业部、生化发射事业部、红外事业部；两个分公司即：机械精密加工有限公司、光学加工有限公司。事业部、分厂实行独立核算，自负盈亏。事业部在册人员230人，其中，从事研发和销售的人员80人。产品市场率分别占10%-50%，年销售额5000万元。两个分厂在册人员120余人，年销售额2000万元左右。

瑞利公司现已研制生产七大系列30多个品种的分析仪器产品。其中，原子吸收分光光度计系列、原子荧光光谱仪系列、紫外/可见分光光度计系列、傅立叶红外系列、发射光谱系列处于国内领先或国际先进水平。公司的主导产品原子吸收分光光度计获得火焰原子吸收法国家及专利，在国际、国内先后十七次获奖，荣获1997年第七届BCEIA国际大会金奖。2002年AF-610系列原子荧光光谱仪、WQF-310/410型傅立叶红外光谱仪双获国家经贸委国家重点新产品证书，UV-1600紫外可见分光光度计、WQF-200型傅立叶变换红外光谱仪获得了由国家科技部、对外贸易经济合作部、国家税务总局、国家质量监督检验检疫总局、国家环境保护总局联合颁发的国家重点新产品证书。

Beijing Rayleigh Analytical Instrument Corporation (BRAIC) is a leading manufacturer of spectroscopic instruments in China. Since it was founded in 1968, the company has been devoting itself to the research, development and manufacture of spectroscopic instruments with thirty years experience in this field, BRAIC now offers six series of over 20 models of products, which include atomic absorption spectrophotometers, optical emission spectrometers, UV/VIS spectrophotometers, FTIR spectrometers, biochemical analyzers and grating monochromators.
